Adams Euphoniums

So the Air Force Band of the Golden West was in Vegas and one of my students got to mess around on one of their euph players horns and he said the horn was "AMAZING" I guess the valves make willson valves seem sluggish and the tone is superior. Has anyone here had any experiences with these euphoniums?

I think the Adams euphonium is their own design and predates their involvement with Hirsbrunner.
They use Bauerfeind valve blocks. Willson used to own Bauerfeind so I'd imagine their technologies are pretty similar. They are good valves, not spectacular like Gerhard Meinl-made Bessons, but very good.
I tried their euphonium breifly at the exhibits at the army band conference this past January. It was nice but not a particularly substantial sound and I felt certain notes were stuffy.

Here's a thread on the Adams from Dave Werden's site.

They are remarkable horns and wonderful to play. Not at all like Willson in concept or playing style.
