What's happening with Tubadome? Their website redirects to melton.de.

Are they still in business?

The Tubadome was a retail space at B&S USA/American Way Marketing, a wholesale distributor of instruments and accessories. At one point they had nearly no Meinl Weston stocking dealers in the US, so they decided to open this showroom to keep the Meinl Weston brand in play.

B&S USA/American Way prefers to remain a distributor and not a retailer, so they no longer sell Meinl Weston tubas direct. However, the tuba showroom is still available if you're in the area and you want to try instruments, and they'll do the billing through your favorite B&S dealer.

No, there are a bunch of B&S dealers in the US. Anyone who carries B&S trumpets or trombones, Hans Hoyer French horns, Scherzer trumpets, or VMI tubas can order Meinl Weston tubas from the importer, B&S USA, in Elkhart. Sadly b_and_s.com is out of date and only lists a few of the US retailers. I spoke to them about it today and they say they'll update things in short order.
