Since you're sticking religiously to your spelling, I'll point out that the correct spelling for this use of the word is principal, not principle.
Except in the case of its use as a noun for "school principal," principal is an adjective, and principle is a noun. You are using it as an adjective, as in "principal tuba." It's the principle of the thing, you know?

www.icsom.org and look at the settlement bulletins. This will show base salaries for orchestras that have settled contracts. Overscale for principal players is handled differently for each orchestra. Many pay a set percentage over base. Other orchestras allow principal players negotiate overscale.
