I am trying to find a dealer that would have at PT-24 with a shank that would fit a York Monster EEb with the small receiver. On another post I was made to understand that the PT mouthpieces came in a variety of shank sizes. Can anyone give me a hand with this. If the PT-24 is not available, I would like the closest thing to a 24AW or a 69C4 with a shank that will fit this horn. Thanks in Advance.

You could trim down the shank of the mpc you can't live without (shouldn't be too pricey), or buy these two I have for sale, both have the smaller shank (SHAMELESS PLUG):

-Besson 17 (made for Besson Eb's)- Pretty good condition, 29.15mm $25

-Besson 14 (made for Besson Eb's)- Pretty good condition, 30.2mm. $25

As understand it from direct contact with Bob Tucci’s Munich store in the fall of 2008 the PT models nearly always are in storage with the larger shanks. If no samples are available with the smaller shanks, you have to wait until next batch-run of that cup model.

If the Vincent Bach factory hasn’t changed policies, you may order any model with a custom shank. That is: a standard shank, which doesn’t normally come with that size of cup.

Whether the wait will be longer from PT or from VB isn’t for me to tell.

It seems to be working. The old Custom Music Co. site is down for good.

What LJV said. This is the mouthpiece that is closest to a 24AW with a small shank that is readily available, being a standard Denis Wick stock item. When Besson finally moved to the "standard" .520 receiver, the 3L (same mouthpiece with the larger, "standard" shank) was standard kit on eefers for decades until the factory went into bankruptcy.
