Hey, I need some advice about a Schiller euphonium. I've never heard of them, and my friend might buy one without much info.... I don't want her to make a mistake, so I could use some professional opinions about this brand!
Thanks in advance!

If you do a search, there has been several topics regarding Schiller instruments.
Good luck, I hope your friend makes the right decision.

I purchased a shiller euphonium about 8 months ago and I am very pleased with it. I also own a king 2268 and rented a jupiter euph. the shiller is the 3 + 1compensating one. I am just a hobbiest level player. I've never played a pro level euphonium but I think my Shiller must be close. It is a much better euph than the jupiter and for me, easier to play well than the king. Even if All the prices were equal given the choice of one I would pick the Shiller.

I suggest you visit Dave Werden's forum and read this thread:
Cheap Euphs
This thread is five pages long and starts out with other models, but mostly it ends up reviewing the Schiller Elite model. At the bottom of the page, be sure to click on the next page for continuation. Some interesting reviews with a number of folks purchasing this model.
Hope this helps.

Hi-
As an owner of a Schiller Elite comp. 3+1 euph--it is truly one of the GREAT deals out there--blows away many, many horns. A few of my friends locally who played mine went and bought a Schiller Elite euph too. My 2 cents...
Regards-
