Loud's LM-3 is almost exactly what you've described. I have one of those and a Bayamo; and the LM-3 is a little deeper with less of a bowl - more of a funnel. I believe you can get either the standard LM3 (narrow - slightly rounded) or a C4 style (wider - more rounded) rim, or both since it is a screw rim.

The Dr. Young is a vintage piece that isn't made anymore. They occasionally show up for sale here. I've only seen one in person and it was on Dr. Young's horn at TubaChristmas Cleveland. That thing is huge.

Aside from the sarcasm, you ought to give the Laskey series a try. Start with the 30's, and then move to the 28's. Bigger is not always better...

What do you differ with? Its size or that they aren't made anymore?

The Bayamo used to be my main piece, but I wanted something with a flatter rim/sharper bite. I purchased a Sidney SSH Classic, and I love it. It might be a tiny bit smaller than the Bayamo in all dimensions, but it's still a large mp.

I may end up sending my Bayamo out to get a flattened rim/sharpened bite because I love it so much.

With the same aperture diameter the sample with the sharper rim will be perceived as being narrower.

Australian mouthpieces are beyond me. However the 1.32" inner diameter of the Bayamo hardly is significantly larger than the larger versions seen in this table:

Look at the TU series 132 rim with a T cup.
