If you live in the Memphis area and are interested in a community band, then check out the Crittenden County Community Band. This new group meets at the West Memphis high school band room, and is led by Phil Burns, former director of the West Memphis High School Band.

We meet once a month for a two hour rehearsal, and have openings for mostg everything. We are carrying 4 tuba players at present, including the band directors at Marion Arkansas and Osceola Arkansas.

Check us out at http://www.crittendenband.com" target="_blank

In the pictures are the tuba section boasting a VMI 3301, Allora 191, and two Yamaha 641's. Not a bad sounding section.

Gotts feel good playing through an Alfred Reed piece the first rehearsal. There is promise in that group.

Our new homepage picture shows the awesome section view that we as tuba players deserve.

If that doesn't scare small children and create awe in the unknowing, I don't know what will.

You really ought to list your new band on http://www.boerger.org/c-m/groups.shtml#N" target="_blank
to be able to share that picture world-wide. 8)
