The following is a clip of one the local metro-Atlanta community orchestras; we only had seven rehearsals under our belt prior to our very first performance and our lead trumpeter got his mouth/gob/lips pulverized in a door accident. The sweaty white guy with the tuba is me. I used Lee's version of the Geib. Man, I had a blast. This is why I love community bands/orchestras.

For some reason the URL doesn't like Opera, but Firefox and IE8 don't seem to have any problems.

Can you add a Full Screen viewing option?

For me at least it uses Windows Media Player to play and double-clicking the movie got it to full screen for me.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes, I am using my old style King 2341 with a 19 inch bell that came with the horn (purchased from a TubeNetter). I would love to find a larger, upright bell for it should one be out there that fits. The King has a great sound (even though I do miss the sound of my old 25J).

Radagast hit the nail on the head. Once I open the clip in Firefox or IE8 and then double-click, it comes up in double screen via Widows Media Player.

No wading with you on this one. My Mac/Safari displayed two diagonal arrow in the lower right corner of the video. Clicked them and went to full screen, albeit in a somewhat jagged version.

As for the music I was surprised by the quality of a fairly new orchestra. Rhythm and intonation were good.

The seating however was most confusing. A bassoon to the left of Condoleezza Rice on clarinet, just in front of one of your first presidents, Adams(?), on percussion. The best fit for the stage was the 3rd trombone with his monastery ripe haircut.

Great entertainment. I should know the music, but I can’t name it. Gershwin?

Certainly did enjoy! However the lip sync of the OP’s orchestra was better than the one displayed in the second YT video.

One envies Klaus - he has not yet been initiated into the mysteries of a cult Western classic. Think of the joy and wonder that still awaits him.

First, find yourself a copy of the Kurasowa "Eastern" that it was based on...and then...and then...the shot-for-shot remake transplanted by 10 thousand miles. A Western re-make of an Eastern tribute to the classic Hollywood Westerns...
