I think it's 3 (though there are at least 4!). I've seen another version of this clip before- for some reason this one doesn't list Csaba Wagner (right next to Roland), who also plays contra. No contra when honking out tons of pedal Es?!? -1

But would an F contra's pedal E have the same punch as a bass on pedal E?
Hmmm....

I guess it all depends on how much edge you want.
