what kind of glue...?

Post by Mike Finn »

What kind of glue/epoxy do I need to re-attach the flange to the bell on my 36K? I know it will be hard to resist, but please don't say a "tuba glue". Oh, and how do I straighten out the bell? It's a little bent. Not cracked, chipped or anything, just bent. The previous owner said it was sitting in the attic for years, and was leaning against the bell rim, and apparently the weight of the instrument and heat caused it to flex a little over time. Any help?

As for the bend: follow John Lennon’s message:
