looking for My spirit be joyful for brass quintet

I've lost my copy of this arrangement. I got it 20 years ago I think it was published by the International Trumpet Guild and the arranger was Herforth. Anyone know where I can purchase it?

I don't believe that it is commercially available. If you contact Mr. Herforth, I think he would be willing to send you a copy.

The arrangement appeared in a supplement to the International Trumpet Guild Journal in December, 1991. You can probably find it in a library, or you can purchase the CD of past journals from the ITG for $40.

Thanks for your help with this. As suggested, I contacted Mr Herforth (a google search produced the website of a Cleveland big band he plays in and they put me in touch with him). 10 minutes later our phone rang and it was Mr Herforth himself! We had fun talking about playing in brass quintets. He offered to send me a copy of MSBJ, and wouldn't hear of accepting any $ for it- he also mentioned that he's 94 years old- what a guy!

Sorry, I saw this too late. I was out of town yesterday. In the past, Harry has given me permission to give parts of this out to those in need, and you are correct; he wouldn't think of taking a cent for it...not shocking for those of us lucky enough to have known and played with Harry. He is one hell of a guy. True story: He played with the Euclid Orchestra for years and he was in his early 90's before I ever heard him chip a note in a performance.
I love telling this story and will repeat it every time someone brings up his name.
He loves to hear when people want to play this arrangement. It truly makes his day.
