Planets tenor tuba

Post by Chris Horsch »

The community orchestra in which I play bass tuba is going to take a shot at Holst's The Planets this fall. What normally available instrument could be used for the tenor tuba part?

Might depend on the arrangement and/or publisher: the last couple of times I've played it, the part was concert pitch, bass clef.
