Cerveny 653 serial number -- where is it?

Just realized today that I've never actually found what I would consider as a serial number on my Cerveny 653 F tuba.

The leadpipe says "CFB-653 Czech Republic" and on the 4th valve casing it says "S27" (I don't think that is a serial number though).

Am I just totally missing it? I'm know old Cervenys were a little inconsistent, but mine is pretty new and seems like it should have one.

Come to think of it, I have never really looked.

Upon inspection....

I can't find ANY indication other than the letter "E" which is stamped on my 4th valve casing....so my 4th valve is stamped different than yours....maybe weird "serial" numbers??

My sales invoice from Dillon's has no s/n on it either. I guess S27 it is! :)

Most of the time Cerveny/Amati rotor tubas have the seial number stamped in the lever bridge under the #1 or #4 lever spring. Sometimes it has two numbers. Never could get an answer about that. Oh yeah... the SKU# on the Dillon Music Invoice is the serial number.
