Schiller tuba (186 clone) review

Hi ya'll,
So I got the chance to sit next to one of my long-time classmates with her new Schiller CC (186 clone) in silver yesterday. Let me preface that I've never really been a big fan of the 186 (**cue stoning**) due to, IMHO, the suffering low range. Since going to school with her she's been playing on the school's 186 and has always sounded fantastic. This horn is flat out GORGEOUS!!! Aesthetically the horn is beautiful and had I not been told it was a Schiller I would have thought it was a 186. Not only does the horn look great but it sounds great. Whatever problems I had with the 186 low range were not apparent on this horn. The intonation is spot on and slots well in all registers. AND for someone who wants the Miraphone but can't afford the price tag, she said she purchased the horn NEW for around 2K... 2K PEOPLE! If you're a student on a budget I would highly recommend taking a look at these horns.
