Hello friends,

A family friend asked me to take a look at his euphonium and tell him how much it was worth. He tried to learn it, and then decided he wasn't going to be able to play it very well and wants to sell it. The bell says "LARK M4050N" and I have attached some photos that may or may not be helpful. It's in very good condition with very few imperfections, which are very small. Anyone have any idea as to the value?

I overheard a little birdie telling someone with a Lark trumpet that he'd be better off making it into a lampstand... Wondering if that holds true for this instrument here.

Not sure what it's worth, but all of the things I've heard about Lark weren't very good. It's a pretty small bore instrument at around .562" I think.

Lark for sale in Utah for $200

Actually, that's a 3/4 baritone, not a euphonium. (Yes, Lark used to sell both.)

Music Go Round has one for sale for $100. From what I know of their pricing model, that's probably double what they paid for it.

Ebay completed auctions shows that some poor stiff listed one with a starting bid of $75, which received no bids.

I had a Lark Eb Horn that should have been made into a lamp as it was not big enough to be an anchor for a boat....
