My brother just bought a Jin Boa "Professional" Euphonium from the top_eseller guy on ebay for $1000. I was very skeptical about it but at $1000 we could always just rent it to middle school students to get them used to compensating horns early. The horn came in and... Wow! The intonation is spot on. The response is very good, as good as any willson yamaha meinl weston or besson I have ever played on. The tone is very much like a yamaha YEP-642 Ihaven't tried the 842 so I have no idea if it is closer to that or not. The low register is amazing, and the valves are like grease lightning.

This horn plays so good, I hate myself.
