Kauai's Homestead Brass do studio shoot

Last year Kauai's Homestead Brass, a quintet composed of people whose ages range from 19 to 69 and who's musical backgrounds are about as wide went to the local public access TV studio, Hoike, to do a one-take studio shoot complete with blue screen backgrounds I titled Homestead Brass Flings. The studio's narrow blue screen had to be modified to cover the space required for a three camera shoot but all in all it came out pretty good. We were able to tape 7 musical selections and I thought we did well enough to put them on YouTube. I hope you enjoy our efforts and get the incentive, if you have a public access station in your area, to do a similar venture. Our production cost $000. YouTube cost $000. So how can you lose?
Here's the link to the first selection.

The wife and I were on Kauai for a week in mid-June. Had I known there was a brass quintet there, I'd have looked you up. Should have posted a query here before flying over. Nice youtube clips. Clearly you're all having fun! Oh well. Next time!

Tom,

If you get a chance, look up a guy named Garry Russell over there. He was THE go to tuba/bass trombone here in Las Vegas for more than 30 years and is a stand up guy. He opened his own dive shop. Never know what may come of it.
