Yamaha Valve Guides

Post by markwarreneddy »

I can't seem to find a set of valve guides for my Yamaha 822 F. Does anyone know where I could find some?? They're very hard to find....

Thanks!

Any repair shop should be able to order them from Allied or Yamaha - they are very common and used on everything from the 321 BBb to the 321 F. Piece of cake.

Yup. JC's correct. Yamaha part number G0141093. Should be available from any music store or repairman. I usually keep a dozen or so around if you can't find any locally.

If you don't like the newish metal inserts in the valve guides, http://www.eastmanwinds.com/ offers exact duplicates of the older style Yamaha guides without the metal bits.
