For my job, we fly quite a bit and I'm responsible for keeping the brass instruments safe. The hard case we have for the euphoniums are sub-standard so we need to purchase new ones. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with euphonium flight cases? Anything would help.

Shoot an e-mail to Adam Frey at adam AT euphonium dot com: he's used a Walt Johnson flight case for a number of hears, and would be able to give you a good rundown on its strengths and weaknesses.

Unitec is making a flight case for euphonium now as well. I don't recall the price, but they did one for a well known soloist and it seemed to work pretty well when I saw him last.

All the best.
