They make tubas in BBb, CC, and F, although they might make an Eb if asked. In Germany most professionals play BBb tubas, so a German company, especially one specializing in tubas, must make BBbs. Most that you will see in the US will be CC because they make professional quality tubas and most pros in the US have a CC bias.

I was in their shop a month ago and in the display window was a rotory EEb, not sure if it was a four or five valve, but they will make it to your specs. Also in the display was a 5/4 BBb rotory, 5/4 piston BBb, 4/4 rotory CC, 4/4 piston CC, along with their more recognized models. They make all key tubas and many available in piston or rotor. IMO, Rudy makes the best F tuba on the market.

My understanding is that professionals in Germany do play Bb, but use an F tuba as their main axe.

I believe that most play BBb and F, but I'm sure which would be characterized as their main axe. My primary contact with German orchestras is through a friend who was principal horn with the Munich Symphony, so we didn't talk about tubas much.
