Hello folks-

If anyone on the board, or anyone you may know OFF the board is coming to China at all, feel free to get in contact with me or pass along my contact info to those interested/in need of any answered questions. wrobotuba@gmail.com" target="_blank" target="_blank

Things are pretty tight around here, but I am happy to do what I am able.

Should anyone be in the area at the end of Octuba there MAY be some events to attend:
Octuba 30 I'll be giving a recital at the China Conservatory of Music
Octuba 31 My students will be giving a first half solo/second half ensemble concert (also at the conservatory)

November/December will see some Christmas concerts (with folks from all over the country, and MAY be televised)

More info as things become solidified.

Cheers,
wrobotuba

Thanks wrobotuba!

Thank you for your advice in the past - hope to get to Beijing sometime to meet up with you!

I will be visiting Shanghai early next year. Are there any English speaking tubists there I might look up? Would also welcome thoughts on places of music interest, concerts to attend, or tuba store to visit?

Besides Wrobotuba himself (great to hear from you, M!), Tom Haggerty is tubist for the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
