Christmas Music

Post by tbn.al »

I can't help it. I love Christmas Music! There is one genre, however, that has never been on my favorite list, Cantata's. You know the kind the church choir director buys so they won't have to give a lot of thought to putting together a program. There has always been one exception out there for me, the Shaw/Bennett, "Many Moods". I have found another this week, "The Word Became Flesh" by Dan Goeller. This was recorded before he moved to the sticks at OceanWay in Nashville, 2007, I think. Whoever is playing tuba is moving some real estate. Huge sound. Is it one of you perhaps? Nice playing whomever. You can give a listen here.

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
