I was wondering if anyone else had noticed that the Jin Bao Musical Instrument Company is no longer available on Alibaba. I wonder why?

I did notice that a week or so ago. Don't know why, though I could guess.

I must admit I would be very careful dealing with Jinbao directly. I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist, but I suspect some of their larger customers have applied some pressure to try to chill their dealings with smaller customers who just meet the minimum order requirements.

And on the other hand, perhaps no pressure is required. It's possible that they just think the smaller orders are not worth filling in a timely way, though it's hard to see how they would have built their business to this point if they had that philosophy. Either way, be careful.

I don't know what to make of this. One day I think Jinbao is about to take over the world and no longer needs Alibaba, and the next I think they've paid their overdue account and Alibaba has allowed them back into the marketplace. Either way, I think people who are not prepared to fly to China better be careful dealing directly with these people, for whatever reason.
