Howzis? Big, fairly weighty tuba, suited for medium or larger body types, popular seller here. Very nimble for such a large instrument and bore. Incredible low range - the low F simply leaps out of the horn. I'd use this for Prokofiev Romeo & Juliet if I had the chance. This is my favorite BBb tuba. Very lively response. Clearer, more pointed attacks and more centered tone than the similar piston valve 1291. Great pitch - little if any slide pulling necessary - better in tune than the 186 models. Available in yellow or gold brass, 4 or 5 rotors, all 5 right hand or 4+1, also available as the S191 model in all brass, no nickel trim, for a slightly lower price. YMMV.

A question: On Miraphone's homesite none 191 exists. However a model 91. Is that the same model?
