Hello,

I am in the very beginning stages of research for an article about Helmut Lachenmann's "Harmonica" for solo tuba and orchestra, and I had a few questions about the dedicatee, tubist Richard Nahatzki. Unfortunately, since Mr. Nahatzki passed away recently, I am unable to get any first-hand info about the piece, but I am looking for anyone who might have known Mr. Nahatzki or anything about the piece in question. Also, I am curious to know if anyone has studied or looked at "Harmonica" before. I have the two commercially available recordings, (Mr. Nahatzki's with Hans Zender and the Saarbrucken Radio Symphony Orchestra, and a live recording with Klaus Burger and the SWR-Sinfonieorchester, again with Hans Zender.) I'll be referencing both of these recordings quite a bit, since they have some marked differences.

Thanks, and any info would be greatly appreciated!
