What tubas or Tuba predecessors do you own that were found stored unused ,in some attic or band storage room for "Umpteen" years?

My Martin BAT and Conn 28J.
The Martin probably hadn't been played for decades, it was on top of the shelves at a band room and covered in a few layers of dust (and wasn't actually playable)...I know the Conn had work done on it, but that was probably the last time it was outside (and the guy who owned it had been here forever)
I'm just glad I found these to get them in working shape and give them some playing time again

I have 3 orphans. First , an OTS made by Straton found in an attic in Illinois. 2nd a bb flat 1917 Hellicon found in attic of Moose Lodge in Pa. and 3 rd a 1920 York E flat Helicon from Local High school Band Room. Bought it from School system. A Tuba playing friend found a 1954 high school band picture with this hellicon still in use. One helicon and 6 big b flat souzys in annual picture. All 3 have been repaired and I play them regularly.

1920s York Monster EEb, silver with lovely engraving, a flattened bell and gummed up pistons.

A timely call from repairer Colin Jeffries in Sheffield (UK) rescued my Highams 5v from the school chucking it in a skip;

and a similar 'just by chance' situation rescued my Hawkes 4v Cavalry tuba from the same situation, pic when I got it, for the grand sum of £15;

A 4-valve King souzie, spent the last three or four decades in the attic of the former Union Pacific RR station in Stockton CA. Needed only a neck & bits.

Also a YBB-103 rescued from a dumpster in Elgin IL. It did take $150 worth of dentwork to put it in playing condition for my very appreciative son.

I'm a known collector with ~160 brasses, and people sometimes give me their unwanted instruments (kinda like cat lovers who find a basket of kittens on their doorstep).

Circusboy, have you gotten yours playing yet?

a Besson Enharmonic 4v from the Edgeware factory closure, obviously used as a donor instrument for another. The bell is in nice shape and beautifully engraved.
