I've emailed Glenn twice in the last three weeks about a new gig bag, with no response. Does anyone know if he is sick or out of the country?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I heard from Glenn in late October regarding a patch he was working on for me - he had been injured in an auto accident and was behind in things. He was going to try to get back to his shop as soon as he could.

It took him quite a while to make and send me a bag this past summer. Long enough that I was given free shipping because of the wait. Something must be going on.

Hi,

I had the same problem. I sent a mail, but no response. I got mine finally from the hornguys in La Crescenta. They ordered it for me.
I am from germany and I was in California some weeks back. I couldn“t find any gig bag fitting my big tuba because the tuba is too big. I got one of the gig bags and I am very very happy with it.

I got my Cronkhite softcase for my King 2341 from Baltimore Brass and it's the finest tuba case I've ever had. (and that includes factory cases, custom made stuff, etc.) If you have a stock model horn (Glenn has 1000s of case patterns) you might try Baltimore. For what it is (top line workmanship and materials) it's priced right, too.

I'll be ordering a Cronkhite case for my Martin - right after I get my upright bell made for it.
