Harv, you expose yourself to one certain question: What are you smoking in that pipe?

That flareless bell reminds me of the ventilation stacks of the ferries of my childhood.

Hey, Harv!

That horn looks a little like one I'm working on.... 'cept this one is based on a Conn 4V euphonium and a bari sax bell.

Bb... same pitch as a euphonium. The valve section is Conn 24i... the euph body is European (probably Czech) and has a quicker taper than the Conn had... the bell is from a scrapped Selmer bari sax. I have a new leadpipe already bent that's straighter with a large-shank receiver but did not have it installed when this picture was taken. Bracing is yet to go. It will eventually be played to the side like a saxophone. The timbre is much like a euphonium but much more focused and LOUD!

Harvey and Dan, you both need to hire a media manager------National geographic, CNN,and Fox will be by any moment-------you've found the missing link between Tuba and Euphonium.

Dan and Harv, I think a nice satin silver finish would give both your horns a little Professional legitimacy and upmost dignity. I've been looking in the "audition" section for you guys to show up.

I don't care for satin-silver finishes. They are like my first wife.... they take too much time, money, and effort to keep looking good!
