Fanfare for the Common Man recordings?

Post by tubacdk »

So, what is your favorite Fanfare for the Common Man recording? I own the Summit Brass recording and the LAPO/Mehta recording. I like the LAPO recording much better, the playing is more dramatic and the recording quality is far superior. The Summit recording comes across as somewhat safe. I don't remember having heard any others... What's your vote?
