Hello fellow tubenetters,
I have seen reviews of Schiller tubas on board, but has anyone played these M&M tubas? I assume it is a Chinese horn but they look pretty nice and seem to be decent designs. Here is an ebay link to a BBb that looks a bit VMI 3301-ish:

There is a lso a nice CC rotary horn listed. Are these the same as Schiller horns or something different?

Hi-
The 8000 model BBb that Michael sells on ebay is also on his website--$2,800. I believe Dan, aka Tuba Tinker has one of these and it has been discussed on this website
This is a clone or copy of a Miraphone 1291 BBb tuba.
Asian horns made at JinBao are the same ones that M&M/Schiller-Laabs/Dillon/BBC/TE et all import...

Good luck.

I'd go with a JinBao, Dillon, Schiller, etc before an M&M. PM me if you would like more of the explanation why.

I recently purchased a TU-8000 from M&M. Very nice playing horn. The quality of the valves isn't quite what I'm used to. PM me if you'd like more detail.

If the indicated bore of 0.802" is measured as the inside diameter of the male slide branches of the 4 first valves, then this one is really big in bore.
