I know that we all use and advocate the use of tuners and metronomes in our practicing and teaching of fundamentals. I am wondering if any of you use or teach any technological augmentation of your routine (fundamentals) like these:

Not really talking about solos/etudes... that is for a nother thread. I know that Neil Corwell keeps mp3 files of accompaniments of the solos he is working on, on his player so that he can practice with them wherever he may be. (Rest stops on the interstate)

I have a bunch of mp3's of warmups that I'll buzz along with if I'm stuck away from the horn for a while.

I like to warm up while the stereo is playing orchestral music. Regardless of the key, most every chromatic note has a reference point in the music for intonation during long tones. Hearing the music playing also helps to keep the thoughts about music making during warm ups instead of thinking mechanically.
