I was thinking exactly the same thing a few months ago. After searching around I didn't find any indication of dealers outside Europe.

They have a website with contact details.

http://www.jestaedt-instrumente.de/frame.htm

I've seen an Austrian website selling them. The baritones cost the equivalent of $5,000 USD.

Please let me know if you have any luck finding a dealer.

I visited Jestaedt in Germany to try out when considering travel tuba. Their F IMHO is not a patch on the Melton/Meinl-Weston travel tuba. I could not get a decent sound out of it! The small BBb model seemed marginality better.

Hallo,
I've played all of the Jestädt tubas. The 5 valve Orchestra Modell 81 was for myself, a beautifully playing instrument. Although it obviously doesnt have the weight of a full size F tuba, it more than makes up for it with better clarity and a wider range of colors. When funds allow next year, I will buy one.
Specs are:
82cm high
4.2-4.4kg depending on 4 or 5 valve
Bore 19.5mm
Goldbrass handmade with kranz on the bell

The 4 valve F model and the BBb version are perhaps meant more for children but are still quite fun to play.

The pocket tuba is in BBb, and has a LOT of resistance rather like the MW travel tuba. With my standard F mouthpiece it wasnt playable, but I threw in a very small Tilz (WH-F4), and it woke up somewhat, abeit still stuffy.

Here's their contact.

Thank you. Would you be able to tell me how much their tubas run?
