the one hundred

Post by tubaluna »

Hopefully this post will not be a repeat of a previous post. Just want to take time to tell you all about Wesley Jacobs new book that came in the mail today. I was very excited to find my copy of the one hundred and it met my every expectation.

"Before each composition, a list of fundamental concerns appears: Audition- Is this work likely to appear on tuba auditions? Memorize- Is it necessary to memorize passages on this composition? Errors- A list of errors appears followed by corrections in the included exerpts. Tuba- A suggestion is made of low (typically CC) or high (F or Eb) tuba." ------------Wesley Jacobs-Author

Highly recommended. I know this is going to be a valuable resouce that I will use for years to come both in my playing and my teaching.

Bravo Wesley Jacobs!!! (Encore Music Publishers)
