Holy ^*%$ another Bydlo thread

St Louis Symphony has "Pictures" up this weekend. Tim Myers has got to be among the best orchestral doublers anywhere. The whole group sounded great (well, there were a few pitch bobbles here and there, damn those reeds) and the low brass was especially on. They play so well together as a section, and add in that they have an acting associate, there's something special there.
Bydlo..well, just understand that it was flawless, singing, BEAUTIFUL tone...it brought me much happy, in other words. And, Tim is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, too.
Gerry Pagano and Mike Sanders sound great together on the bottom. MIke is one of those unsung guys that simply do the job like it's nothing to them, and don't get the credit they deserve. A gem. I'm so glad to be in St Louis again, and can hear the orchestra as often as I want. And, they're still broadcasting Saturday night series on http://www.stlouispublicradio.org" target="_blank (or http://www.kwmu.org" target="_blank) Next week is Brahms Requiem. I should have posted this BEFORE last night, sorry. I don't think they archive the orchestra concerts.
