Plastic mouthpieces

Post by Hank74 »

Have you seen those new plastic mouthpieces for any brass instrument. They come in clear and any color imaginable.

I have one with me in case I need to use for extreme heat or cold weather. So far it has worked pretty well. Will be helpful for any of you who has to play outside for TubaChristmas in the cold.

You hit that nail right on the head!
That would be a cool thing for Christmas.
Though it's too late to get 'em out now, they might be able to pull something off for next year. I'll make the suggestion on their forum and see what comes up. I'll be sure and give you the credit for the idea in my post.
Be innotative! Buy a white one and use a red Magic Marker to make the stripes!

I've been using mine almost exclusively since February. I'm expecting a PT-50 version shortly.

Oh, and as the truck driver says:
