I was at the rehearsal today and have heard him working on it recently and it is definitely one of the hardest pieces added to the repertoire. It is in fact meant for C tuba as a request of Harvey, who preferred works written for C. Mr. Schuller wrote it specifically for the big horn.

Is there going to be an archived recording of the performance?
