Cimbasso mouthpiece recommendations?

Any mouthpiece recommendations for a piston valve Cimbasso in F?
I'm very uninformed about this particular topic and I'm looking for input from Cimbasso owners/players mainly. I have a PT65s that I use with my F tuba but I'm not sure if this is the best choice as I want this horn to sound different than another F tuba and more trombonish. I've seen suggestions for a Schilke 62....Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me directly with any advice as well.
Thank you!
Chris

If the shank fits contrabass trombone mps might work. I have a Kanstul 2A and a JK 2C for my Kanstul contrabone. They're ok but I think a 1 might be better. I'm also trying to get a tenor tuba mp.
If you like I can send you the 2A to see if it'd work for you. They're also great mps for low range bass trombone (2C works better than the 2A), euph playing if the part doesn't get super high, and small bass tubas (more of a bass euph/cimbasso sound there).

I use a Laskey 28C. About any mouthpiece intended for F tuba would work. The Miraphone C4 seems good too.

It depends. What kind of cimbasso do you play? Does it have a large or small bore? Do you double on bass trombone or euphonium already?

Chris,
I have 2 mouthpieces I go between depending on the music I'm playing. For loud aggressive movie like music I use the LOUD LM 12. Very shallow with the "double cup" like design....you'll give any chain saw a run for its money. For "pretty" playing like in opera/quintet (yes quintet) I use a Dennis Wick 2.5 CC which is a variation on the helleburg. I've spent months and months finding what works for me, don't be afraid to experiment. I never expected these to be the mouthpiece's I would use, but they work very well for me. For what it's worth I use these on the G&P/Kalison F Cimbasso and the Rudy F Cimbasso.
Enjoy Blatting away!

Kalison. I've had several people contact me with recommendations and even one phone call. The archives are pretty bare on this topic and maybe this thread will help the next person looking for ideas.
