Gig bags for my tuba

Post by mctot »

I just bought a tuba from Tuba Tinker (awesome guy!) and need help selecting a gig bag to go with my horn. This horn is a Walter E. Sear BBb horn and has the same proportions as a Cerveny 681 BBb (roughly) which is about a 16 inch bell and about 40 inches tall. Any suggestions? I would like to stay in the less-than-$200-after-tax-and-shipping range.

Thanks guys!

Altieri gig bags are also quite good, but I'm not sure how much they're selling for these days. It's been several years since I've purchased mine and it's holding up quite well. http://www.altieribags.com" target="_blank
