One question, how do you stop a slight plop interrupting your airflow as you move the valves playing legato?

What are you talking about is part of my teaching;
Like the strings that have to practice both right and left hand, we have to practice everything concerning our embouchure and eveything concerning the finger skills.

if we only push the levers (specially on rotary instruments) we will never pley really legato, I praticed a lot on the sensibility of my fingering tecnique trying to move the levers faster and slower simultaneously, so to have smooth changes, and also keep blowing air to fill my buzz in between the intervals, all these things togheter create what we can call legato
