What horn is this??

Hi would someone know what kind of tuba this is> in the advertisement they say it's a M.W.Getson it seems like its an orcestra tuba (rather tall unless the photo's stretched) what do you all think I've ask the sellers for info but they won't reply I was hoping it was a CC..bob

Nothing fancy. It's just a Meinl model 20 with a detachable bell.

It was made for the American market, along with the 186 variant I own, also with a detachable recording bell, to compete with the Kings, Conns, Martins, Holtons, Reynolds, etc., when most concert bands played recording bells instead of upright bells. If a recording bell is your thing, it is a good tuba. Not a great tuba, but a good tuba.
