Hi,
I have an old Mirafone tube mpc (Eb 24), and a euphonium mpc labeled ('Royall Model).
Any comparison to current mpcs appreciated.
Thanks,

Miraphone now ships their kaiser barytones with BT15 MPCs now.
I think their euphs ship with BT19 MPCs.

My friend with a Miraphone Royall MPC gave me this information. I love that MPC and would buy one if anyone has one for sale. :p

TN had a flame war about this when it was still a new topic (something to do with Mirafone's conversion list being famous for typos). Here is what dropped out at the end of the war :

C-2 TU09: 44.5 mm
C-7 TU11: 34.4 mm
C-8 TU13: 36.4 mm
2-M TU15: 37.9 mm
3-M TU17: 41.0 mm
8-M TU19: 44.9 mm
C-3 TU21: 41.1 mm
C-4 TU23: 36.9 mm
C-9 TU25: 45.7 mm
C-10 TU27: 37.9 mm
5-M TU29: 44.1 mm
C-6 TU31: 42.3 mm
9-M TU33: 44.9 mm
TU39: 45.8 mm
TU41: 45.0 mm

Trust it if you dare...

Also: The C-3 is now the TU-21 and the C-4 is the TU-23. C8=TU-13, C6=TU-31, 9M=TU-33.
The Rose Mouthpieces: Orchestra=TU-25, Solo=TU-27. This list is from the Brasswind Catalog.
