Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to replace a zipper on a gig bag? I am looking to buy a new back just because my bag is so old and crappy but I would like to hang on to it as a back up. The zipper has taken a crap on me and it is what needs replaced. Any ideas on a cost to do this?

I am not sure on cost but the last time I did this I went to a tent and awning company for the repairs. They have the equipment and the heavy duty zippers up to the task. The $40 range seems right to me. If you don't have protective flap over the bottom area of the zipper you might have them add one to protect it if you have a side loading case.
