I'd send me the $100 and get about 40 or 50 mixed arrangements (pdf files by email) in whatever combination of instruments/transpositions you wanted ;-)

Edited to add: I will come up with a serious answer when it isn't 0330 and I'm not winding down with wine from a quintet gig and the 150 mile drive home afterwards...

I like the Broughton:

Are you looking for serious or all kins of literature?

Centones from Southern and Renwick Dance are some of my quintet's favorites. I am guessing you have those?

Before you buy music, you should decide where you want to play.

If you are going to play in a college or university venue, you need mostly 'serious' literature.

If you are going to try and work commercially, you need music for the venues you want to book. Churches and weddings? Malls? Band Camps? Sports venues? Pick your music based on your need. No sense working on the Arnold for a mall gig. If there are any more mall gigs.

I recommend the Husa Divertimento and the Michael Kamen Quintet. Two of my favorite, chronically underplayed works in the quintet repertoire. $30 apiece at Hickeys.
