What trios are scored for trumpet, tuba, and any other instrument (preferably brass)?

almost none. You are better off playing trpt, hn and trb trios and heaping on a dollop of 8vb's. There's a TON of literature for 111. There is much literature for low brass trio (0111), horn, trb, tuba. You can go here and check out the BCMW libraries (there are three libraries):

Good luck!

There's one by Canadian composer Gary Kulesha. Either Tony Plog or Jim Self wrote one about a roadrunner and (coyote?). I have copies of both, but will have to look them up.

I'm currently arranging the Gershwin Preludes for Trumpet, Tuba and mallet percussion (marimba on the outside movements and vibes on the middle movement). Done with the first movement and looking forward to completing it so we can read it down soon.
