I didn't spend a lot on them, but I did play on them a little bit when I was in the Twin Cities last weekend. They seemed like decent little horns for the money. However, for the money I would go with Taylor Music http://www.1800usaband.com/products/view/2424 They will treat you right and are a known element.

I have a 606 with a nice case, solid bell, and a fubar slide. if you think you can find a slide you can have it for shipping costs and 5 bucks. :D i also have a super clean 606, though it needs a slide job, but i might want to hold onto it. 50 bucks off craigslist yo!

Joe, are you sure about the origins of that Schiller? I'm fairly sure it's a JinBao offering. Some folks are selling Chinese axes from Taiwan and claiming they're Taiwanese made.

Al

My Schiller Tuba arrived 2 months ago in its original packaging with a JinBao Tuba model number on the box.
