I am going through a mouthpiece switch and would appreciate some helpful suggestions. I have been using a PT-50 and PT-88 on this horn and although it has a great low register, it is much too big and have had response and clarity issues with these.
I have switched to a Laskey 30H and have enjoyed the improved response and clarity in the sound but I have been really battling with the intonation while using this mouthpiece (its really all over but specifically the significantly flat D in the staff and the C right below it, as well as quite a bit of the first valve harmonic series). Does anyone have any suggestions for these horns? I would appreciate anything that you could offer. Thank you in advance!!

Re: Suggestions for mouthpiece on Hirsbrunner HB-20
I agree, many Hirsbrunners I have played are quite pitchy as well, especially that Eb in the staff. This one really is quite good, nothing is out of hand to where I can't manage it on a slightly bigger mouthpiece but I lose the clarity and response. I have not hand to pull a whole lot, a couple minor 1st slide alterations and a little pulling in the low register on E.
