I just got my blokepiece symphony in today and have been playing on it for well over half an hour. I am absolutely in love with this mouthpiece. I admit I had reservations at first but all of those have been blown out the window by this mouthpiece. If you have been considering getting a stainless steel mouthpiece I would highly recommend this one.

What piece did you have before?

I used to play on a pt-50 and I also play on a Doug Elliott mouthpiece. But they weren't really doing it for me.

Does anyone know how these compare to the G&W Baer MMVI?

One of the players at my school uses one. He sounds very dead and not so alive with that mouthpiece. But the blokepiece sounds absolutely beautiful. It has soo much resonance and power too.

I like mine. It has really tone and color for me. That being said, ive never played on a Blokepiece

Starting to get a tiny itch of curiosity....but I do like my caver....maybe a trial is n order...

I had my reservations turns out to be the best choice I've made for a mouthpiece.

I keep experimenting with mouthpieces. I usually love them all right out of the box. Usually I end up getting rid of them after they end up a few weeks later playing behind the Symphony.

Ditto... and likewise, you have to force yourself to test in rehearsal the pieces that you don't like "out of the box."

Recent example for me... I didn't particularly like using the Miraphone Rose Solo on my Miraphone 188 when I first tried practicing with it at home. But Roger Lewis kept telling me how much he likes that mouthpiece on his Miraphone 188, so I figured I should probably listen to his advice and give it a shot. Wow, what a difference it can make to play in a bigger room! That's my go-to mouthpiece (for now )...
