Check out the playing by these three tubists. They made the Fischoff competition.

This trio for 2 oboes and English horn by Beethoven has my special interest, as I have copied the original into Finale. The different versions for other instruments didn’t make it to the web yet, but there may be one for two euphoniums and bass tuba one day.
An interesting aspect with this trio is, that it formally is a full symphony with all elements of the sonata form being present in the first movement. The less interesting portion is about some very formal filler sections like the coda of the menuetto, which is plain dumb. I have a strong suspicion that Beethoven had taken in a commission for 30 minutes of music and then entered the silly stuff to meet the last two minutes of that requirement.
These present tuba players in the video play extremely well individually and especially in ensemble. They play very much like string players. Their instructor must be immensely skilled.
Actually my main complaint is about some lack of drama. The syncopes could need some more edge. Still these players obviously have been trained to NOT confirm with more standard perceptions of brass players being rude, and they are programmed to blend well with their future ensembles.
