Repertoire Questions

Evening All:

just been given the repertoire list for next year - which pieces have tuba?? which are tricky? and bass/ contrabass.

Also if anyone has a pdf of the Colour Symphony it would be very helpful

It might indeed be helpful, but given that Bliss died in 1975, unless UK copyright law changed in the last ~12-18 months, Color Symphony is still protected by copyright (life of composer + 70 years).

May be ideal for compensated Eb, but was no doubt written for F. Is a great tuba part - I have that one coming up in July and will be using my PT-15.

I would use contrabass tuba for the Gershwin and take along bass tuba for the Bliss by default (tell us what it is like). May work on contrabass, but was no doubt written with F tuba in mind.
