Polster Stencil Horn ID - Interesting 4th valve wrap

Dear friends,
Here's a tuba that turned up at a local music store in Knoxville in a batch of used instruments. They asked me to come in and ID it- I'm assuming it's a Markneukirchen stencil tuba, but I thought I'd send some photos out to all you TubeNetters to see if you know any other specifics or have any anecdotes to share on its lineage. At the very least, I'm sure there are many who would get a kick out of seeing the pictures.
I did play it and it plays almost as well as an older Bb Miraphone. The clothespins you see are to minimize 'rattle', so it does need some attention. I do think the fourth valve wrap is interesting.
